What is BSidesMKE
Curious people, one room, zero pretense
BSides is the conference that happens next to the big one, run by the people who would rather be in the hallway. BSides Milwaukee has been doing it since 2023: real research, first-time speakers, hands-on villages and a CTF that runs until the scoreboard freezes.

Hey. What do you need to get into BSidesMKE?
Future attendee
Do I need to be a professional hacker? I mostly break my own homelab.
BSidesMKE crew
That is literally the ideal attendee. Grab a ticket, bring the homelab stories.
Future attendee
Can I give a talk about it?
BSidesMKE crew
Yes. First-time speakers get mentors. CFP link is at the bottom of this page.

Four rooms, one weekend
01
Keynote
One opening talk to set the tone for the weekend. No product, no pitch, just someone who has done the work telling you what they learned the hard way.
02
Talks, two tracks
Offense, defense, hardware, cloud, policy, and the weird stuff. 25 and 50 minute slots. First-time speakers get a mentor and a dry run.
03
Villages
Lockpicking, hardware and badge soldering, a career clinic, and a table where you can get your resume roasted by people who hire.
04
CTF and afterparty
A jeopardy-style CTF that runs all day with the scoreboard on the big screen. Then the lights go down and the mirror ball goes up. Got to be real.
